Johan Svensson, Engineering Analyst

My working day typically begins with verifying the simulations that have been running over night. Often improvements to the FE model are needed and that is the best part of my job; figuring out smart approaches to solve problems and perhaps write or optimize simulation scripts. Since I am often involved in a handful of different projects as project leader my day also consist of working with other colleagues at the office as well as communicating with customers.

This is basically what I have been doing for the last seven years since I began working here after my time at Lund University as a student of physics engineering. Now this may sound as a repetitive work place but it is in fact the opposite. This is mainly because of the wide range of industries that Validus Engineering is involved in. During my time I have been working within different areas such as nuclear, offshore, automotive and many other smaller industries.

I was introduced to Validus by a friend of mine, who at that time worked at here, and a job interview was arranged. I signed the employment contract at the same day of the interview, went to a company party later that evening and have never regretted the decision I took that day, both thanks to my stimulating job tasks and also to my terrific colleagues.
